Maryann first entered the field of real estate in 1974; and has since cultivated a truly impressive career and a loyal following of customers. Maryann has been recognized as a top individual producer for Michael Saunders & Company, having been at the helm of some of the company’s most significant transactions. Throughout her almost four decades in the industry, Maryann has given every transaction - whether large or small – the same amount of energy and attention. She believes in building business relationships with a foundation of trust, something she achieves by keeping her customers’ fully informed throughout the real estate process.
Maryann specializes in waterfront property and condominium’s, having lived in many of the diverse waterfront communities in the Sarasota area. This first-hand knowledge allows her customers’ to successfully navigate the abundance of lifestyle options in one of the most beautiful regions in the world.
Maryann’s enthusiasm for the community in which she lives extends beyond the call of real estate. As Executive Director of a non-profit organization, she is actively involved in fund raising and event planning in the community. Her spare time is spent walking her two chocolate labs on the beach, savoring sunsets over the Gulf, playing tennis and swimming.

Maryann Casey recently, 7/16/2021, sold our property on Manasota Key. We want her employer to know that she performed an outstanding job for us under difficult circumstances. Why difficult? Because we priced the property above her recommendation. It took two years to sell what we priced at $3.5M. In the interim, we converted to a rental property to defray expenses. For our asking price, the market was terrible. Over the two years, only a few persons came to view the property. During the rental period, there were instances where renters resisted showings. During all the above, Maryann stuck with us. She overcame hurdles dealing with potential buyers, renters, property service companies, and the agency managing our rentals.
